The Leap Year

Plot: “The Leap Years” is a story about Li-Ann ( Li Lin Wong),  who has been waiting for her true love to show up as a blurry blue figure according to a prediction she received from a fortune teller when she was a little girl. One fine February 29th, she spots Jeremy (Ananda Everingham) sitting behind a tinted blue pane at a café and plucks up her courage to ask him out, borrowing the Irish leap year tradition which allows women to make the first move, and which men cannot refuse. A memorable date ensues, and a promise is made to meet every leap year for the next few leap years.
